The world’s first beer that naturally foams and forms a head in the can when you remove the lid. Asahi Super Dry Nama Jokki is the latest taste sensation from Japan! With its refreshing barley flavour and crisp aftertaste, Asahi Super Dry is by far the most popular high-quality beer in Japan.

Well, this was a novelty! I understand the idea is that it is self-foaming in the can, but I usually prefer not to drink out of cans. This wasn’t too bad though, with the wider opening. In terms of taste, it was the usual standard of Asahi Super Dry, which I like.

Interesting, strong beer flavour. If you’re a beer drinker it would be quite enjoyable as the flavour is predictable. The novelty of the beer being self-foaming by holding the outside of the can in your hands is a good little party trick.
+ PROS: Good foaming. Novelty involved with the self-foaming.
- CONS:Too cold to hold the can to create the foam.
The japanese are living in 2050 with this self foaming can. I was showing all my family members!
+ PROS: Self foaming and large drinking access. Sorry i drank most of it before i took the photo
- CONS:None

I thought the self foaming aspect was a bit of a gimmick but I actually really enjoyed this aspect and the wide pull top. Personally this flavour profile(the front footed breadiness of the barley and the bitter finish) is not for me. I prefer something a bit more easy going. Half a can sufficed.
+ PROS: Unique experience. Quality Japanese product.
