We have never had organic tomato sauce for the fear of loosing the flavour but this was really tasty and much better for us nutrients wise.

We had gone off tomato sauce of any kind as it was always to vinegary, so I only got it for certain dishes, and then I would just buy the $1.99 budget brand. But my husband was very impressed with this one, and if it is not too expensive, we will be going back to buying tomato sauce, (this one) it had flavour and no vinegar taste. Although we understand that there are certificates etc to become organic, we feel that everything should be organic, most things were in our day,(not that old, 80’s & 90’s) we grow everything and killed weeds with vinegar, but greed has got the better of companies, so now organics have to pay..

We go through a lot of tomato sauce. If the price is right I may look at buying it regularly. It does come down to price and the amount we use.

We first tried this tomato sauce at the skyline gondola cafe in Rotorua in the xmas holidays, loved it, so much more flavour than our usual brand.

we either buy the Heinz Organic or the Heinz 50% less sugar – this product is low sugar and organic and tastes great – thanks for the intro.
