I have a tried and tested chocolate chip cookie recipe that I normally use Donovan’s dark and milk choc chips in and they are delicious. This time I decided to substitute the milk chocolate chips for the caramel and this gave the cookies the most delicious Easter egg caramel flavour. These cookies were devoured by my husband and son and will definitely be added into the regular baking roster.
The chips are not too sweet which can happen easily with caramel and would be delicious in any item that normally has milk chocolate chips.
