I used this for a vegan mince in a spat bol recipe. It was a bit soggy even though I fried it off for ages but the overall flavour was good…admittedly I added lots to it but we enjoyed.

I was not a fan. And I love meat alternative products. I buy them all the time. Was bland and mushy and didn’t fry like mince at all. I had to add a lot of spices and salt to it and I don’t think it’s wise from a marketing perspective to show the product itself from the outside in as it looks quite gross. Plus that it’s shaped like ground beef, not sure that helped.

I find this difficult to review as personally I don’t like mushrooms. The rest of the family enjoyed this mince. I wouldn’t personally buy but would recommend for mushroom lovers, non meat eaters and vegans.
