Fresh Produce Cabbage Red Quarter

Red cabbage are from the brassica family, and have dark red or crimson leaves. Traditionally red cabbage is cooked longer than green cabbages. Lemon juice, wine or vinegar can be added to preserve the red colour when cooked. You can use red cabbage the same as green cabbage – boiling, steaming, stir frying or stuffing with a savoury filling.
