Great base soup mix, tasty by itself if you are wanting a light soup. Really delicious with a few extra vegetables added ( whatever you have in the fridge). I loved all the split peas and barley in the mix. The whole family enjoyed it too.

My mum use to make these when I was a kid but as an adult I have never thought of it.
When I got this black box I was sick with a flu so I made this soup and added in chicken and some pasta noodles. Oh my it was so yummy! And hit the right spot.
