My kids loved these so much they got into the whole bottle while I hung the washing out. I think a powered form for children smoothies would be the go.

They taste gritty and like eating a calcium chewable tablet – the texture was not something I enjoyed, although the taste was ok, it felt more like I was eating a crunchy pill than a healthy snack/treat.
