We hadn’t had Gnocchi in a while but when I received this sample and found out they also did a gluten free version I searched it out. Gnocchi is back on the menu in our house. 🙂

We had gnocchi with bacon and a tomato based pasta sauce. The children enjoyed it. It would make an easy lunch and was a great side dish as the carbohydrate aspect of our meal. Wouldn’t have it often but now and again we would as something different

We followed the cooking instructions correctly, but this just seemed to taste too heavy and ‘doughy’ .. we have seen cooking programmes where gnocci is supposed to be a ‘light and fluffy’

We don’t tend to buy gnocchi as it is much nicer fresh. It is also very hard to get good quality gnocchi which is packaged.
