Southern Cross Pinot Noir Hawkes Bay

Southern cross is a 100% new zealand brand. It is part of the privately owned new zealand company the wine portfolio. The grapes are from our kinross vineyard in the cool climate of the hawkes bay and the artistry of our skilful winemakers make this into a fine wine. Deeply coloured, the wine shows aromas of strawberry, strong plum and rhubarb. On the palate there is plum, cocoa and mushroom with a silky mouth feel. This wine is well suited to lamb or duck dishes. Good value for a pinot noir. Drinking well now or cellar over the next 7 years.
