The butter I had received taste like CHEESE? its very disappointing having the expectations I had for this butter , will definitely be going back to Anchor butter.

This review is done after comments made by my son who eats mostly organic foods produced in the local community and fruits and vegetables produced in the waikato region. I was buying this butter from the warehouse for $4 but after eating a few packets of it my son said it had a weird taste and it doesn’t state anywhere on the packaging what type of product is used i.e from grass fed cows as does Anchor or is it mainland I can’t remember but my son won’t eat it because of the weird taste. I myself dont notice any difference in taste between brands

I have just completed my review of Tararua butter…I confirm that this butter is simply THE BEST!..This time I would like to ask the producer…Would they consider to make it also cultured? …I can imagine what it can taste and can add more health benefit to this wonderful butter! Thank you very much indeed for this excellent product!

Tararua Butter is simply the best by it’s taste and quality! We always hunting for it as it is not always available where we live in Hamilton NZ…There is no other butter to compare it with!!! Eat it with bread, add it into potato puree, porridge, make clarified butter (as we do!), bake with it, add to steamed or boiled veg….etc….We usually shop in Pack’nSave , New world (Glenview),Countdown (not that often)…Today visited all the above supermarkets and did not find this butter!…So..had my sandwish with the other type of butter…No! It is not the same as it would taste with our favorite Tararua Butter!!..When we see it available …we buy a lot and freeze it! Even after freezing this butter is as perfect as fresh! 5 stars to it! Thank you very much for a wonderful product!
