Ingredients

Special Equipment:

  • Half circle silicone mould

Cooking Method

1

Melt chocolate chips until smooth and pourable.

2

Using a spoon, scoop melted chocolate into the mould, making sure it is thick enough along the sides and edges.

3

To set the moulds, pop them in the freezer for 5-10 minutes or in the fridge for 30 minutes.

4

Heat up an empty plate until warm, but not hot. Taking one chocolate dome, place it on the plate for a couple of seconds to melt the edges.

5

Working quickly, turn the dome on its back and spoon in 1 tablespoon of hot cocoa powder and mini marshmallows.

6

Take another dome and melt the edges on a warm plate. Join the two domes together until it forms a sphere and hold until sealed. Place in the freezer or fridge to cool.

7

To serve, place the hot chocolate bomb at the bottom of your cup and pour over hot milk. Stir the mixture until combined and enjoy!

Cook’s notes:

  • If you don’t have a chocolate mould, wrap an egg in saran wrap and dip in the melted chocolate until they form half a sphere. They won’t turn out completely round, but it still works!
