Frequently Asked Questions

Being that there are so many members we often get asked the same questions – we figured it would be helpful for us to put all the answers in the same place! Every situation is different, and if any of these answers do not assist you with your enquiry please don’t hesitate to email us!

Why Don’t I Receive Many Boxes?

We ask members to understand that we have 100,000 members in NZ and send 5,000 boxes per campaign. Each campaign has specific target audiences, such as if the box has cat or dog food – we want members with pets to receive those! Or if you are someone who wears makeup you’re the perfect candidate for makeup remover! Other factors come into play, whether there are perishable goods, if the campaign is a chilled one and so on. Hopefully this gives you some insight into why you may not be receiving boxes! We are doing our best to get everyone a box, but as you understand there are certain parameters we must abide by.

If the address linked to your profile is a rural one – then you will be less likely to receive a box. This is due to the cost; it is significantly more expensive for us to deliver to a rural address. If you have an urban address we could deliver to i.e. a workplace address, or possibly a family members address..please pop that into your profile & you will be more likely to receive boxes!

Why aren’t I receiving emails?

There are a few reasons as to why this may be! You may have unsubscribed at some point, or your email service may have blocked our email provider – if these are the case you will need to resubscribe or change your email address, you can do so on your Black Box profile.

My Box was delivered to the wrong address – what do I do?

Unfortunately, once your box leaves us at the packhouse we have no more insight into its delivery than you do! It is best to contact the Courier company directly (via phone call is best) and they will help redirect your box.  

Why can’t I signup as a free member?

Our free memberships applications are currently closed. When we do open them we will post about it on our socials – so keep an eye out! In the meantime, our silver memberships are available.

    But,the form is not coming up.
    I filled in one yesterday however there was a typing error???
    I do not have any children but I do have a DOG.
    Please amend your data base.
