Ingredients
- 1 can Wattie’s Chickpeas in Springwater
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Cooking Method

Preheat oven to 190°C.

Drain the chickpeas and pat dry with paper towels.

In a bowl, combine the spices with dried chickpeas until well-coated.

Place in a lined baking sheet, making sure to spread the chickpeas out into one layer. Toss to coat the chickpeas evenly.

Bake in the oven for 40 to 50 minutes, stirring a couple of times during baking.

Once done, set aside and cool. This step is crucial as it will let them get crispier.
