Bathtime Bliss

Why should you invest in taking a bath this winter?

Often we get so busy in our daily lives that carving out just 30 minutes extra just doesn’t seem like an option. But a little bit of ‘me time’ may be just what the doctor ordered! Here are our top reason’s why we love the idea of taking a relaxing bath.

Along with the chance to destress and decompress – there are health benefits that can be achieved by a good old soak in the tub.

Ease muscle soreness and get toasty

Easing aches and pains from joint stiffness, a bath can warm you up all the way down to your bones.

Regulate blood flow and relieve congestion

It will make your blood flow easier, and steam can help you to breathe deeper and slower (which can relieve the symptoms of cold and flu).

Relax and drift off to sleep with no effort

Relaxing muscles to release bodily tension for a good night’s sleep.

Try using these products to target specific ailments:

Muscle recovery: Epsom Salt’s

Dry Skin: Add to the water a few drops of good quality skin oil e.g. Bio Oil

Stress: Light a fragrant Aromatherapy Candle

Enjoy with a good book, and a refreshing drink. Don’t forget to moisturise! Hot water, and soaking for too long can strip both the moisture and oils out of your skin.
